About Our Company

Dave Riney started the company in 2000 with residential work in Wyandotte and the downriver communities. Over 25+, the work expanded — commercial builds, industrial facilities, generator installs — but the territory and the standards stayed the same.

Every job is supervised by a licensed journeyman or master electrician. When the work requires permits or inspections, those steps are part of the project scope from the beginning.

Commercial and Industrial Work

Commercial jobs come with different wiring requirements, site access needs, and inspection steps. Riney Electric has handled offices, restaurants, grow operations, and large industrial facilities, with licensed scope and permit coordination when the work requires it.

Residential Work Done Right

Every house is different — older wiring, a weird panel layout, an addition that doesn't match the original. The estimate starts with those details so the scope is clear before the work is scheduled. From a single outlet to a full service upgrade, the conversation is about the real condition of the home.

A Message from Our Founder

Clear Scope Conversations

Electrical work is planned around code requirements, permit needs, inspection steps, and a clean handoff when the job is complete.

Residential and Commercial Scope

The work spans residential service calls, panel work, generators, EV chargers, commercial build-outs, and industrial electrical projects.

Permit and Inspection Coordination

When the scope requires permits or inspections, those steps are part of the project conversation instead of an afterthought.
